Payments

Important Reminder

Payments must have identifying information to insure proper credit:

  • Case numbers
  • Social Security Number(s)
  • Payor/Payee Name
  • Participant Identification Number(s)
  • “Child Support” should be indicated in the Memo section of any check/money order

Payment information

In most cases, payments are due on the first day of each month. Explanation of how and where to make payments, the effective date of payments, how payments are credited, interest calculations, and when the payment obligation terminates.

Distribution of payments

When a payment is received, it is forwarded to the family within two days unless the money is owed to the county or must be held for some other reason. 

Explanation of distribution of payments, disregards, distribution of payments where there are multiple cases, and the confusing array of arrearage types.
