Credit Reporting

All child support orders are reported to credit reporting companies. The reports list the names, social security numbers, amounts owed, and whether the parent is good or bad credit risk as reflected by their support payment history. This reporting is done, by law, in all cases - even if the parent is paying as ordered and is not in arrears.
