Ombudsperson Program

Who is the Ombudsperson?

The Ombudsperson helps to resolve issues with your child support case, explains your rights and responsibilities, and explains the ways you can get child support services.

What are their responsibilities?

  • To help you with your child support issues
  • To assist you in understanding the complaint process before, during, and after the complaint is filed
  • To assist you in preparing for a State Hearing

How do you contact your local Ombudsperson?

If you have already contacted the Public Service Center Representatives, and your issues have not been resolved, you can call the Ombudsperson unit at 916-875-7320.
