Our
staff is available to make presentations at schools
and to community groups on topics related to child
support issues.
Our program for Middle and
High School aged kids presents them with some
of the financial and social realities of early
parenthood. It is presented in a non-judgmental
way and encourages audience participation. We
have been pleased with the very positive responses
we've received from faculty and students.
Our administrative staff and attorneys
are available to make presentations to community
organizations concerning child support programs,
policy, legislation, and legal topics. Programs
can be tailored to the needs of the particular organization.
We participate in local events,
fairs, and exhibitions by providing staff and informational
literature to expand awareness of our services.
The next local event our staff will be attending
is the Pacific Rim Festival in Old Sacramento. This
festival is an annual event to celebrate the heritage
of the Asian Pacific cultures. The festival features
food, original art, and hand-crafted items with
an Asian influence. This will be the seventh year
we are participating in the festival as part of our
outreach efforts to provide information to the community
about the services we provide. The Pacific
Rim Festival will be held Sunday, May 18, 2008.
