The Sacramento County Department of Child Support Services is converting to the new statewide child support computer system on April 1, 2008. Sacramento will join other local child support agencies, such as those in Yolo and El Dorado Counties, on the Child Support Enforcement (CSE) computer system. By November, 2008, all 52 local child support agencies will be utilizing CSE, making the system truly statewide.

Due to our conversion, we can only offer limited services on Monday, March 31 and Tuesday April 1. We will be open for our normal office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. on these days and will resume full service on April 2. For the most part, you will see no change to how we receive and process demands for payment and release of liens. The format of the forms may differ somewhat but the essential process remains the same. For a look at the demand letter, please click on the new Demand Letter.

If you have any questions, please call us at (916) 875-7400. We appreciate your patience during our conversion.
